 Springfield mansion, Maidstone

The former Victorian mansion house, built above the banks of the River Medway for the owners of the Springfield Mill, had more recently been occupied as head offices of Kent

County Council, until falling derelict following their relocation.

We were engaged to undertake a sympathetic restoration, complete refurbishment and extension to the building under guidance of the Conservation Officer, whilst retaining many of the original features, including decorative ceilings and covings, windows and oak wood panelling to walls and heavy panelled doors.

The cellar was filled with a maze of redundant pipework, insulated with asbestos which required removal in accordance with strict Health and Safety guidelines, following which a complete new mechanical and electrical designed plant, has been installed.

Although much of the original character of the building has been retained, the careful refurbishment now provides luxury office accommodation, fitted out to modern standards.

Turkey Mill, Maidstone

Principle offices of turkey Mill Investments  this  former  paper  mill site  has been transformed under their direction into a complex of offices, including the all new Tolhurst Office Suite and Orangery, Wedding and Conference Centre.

We are now engaged in ongoing maintenance, alteration and refurbishment of the buildings and further future development of site.
